How it works

DOCX files go through mammoth, HTML through a sanitiser then Turndown, plain text is wrapped, and text-native PDFs are read with pdf.js. The result is Markdown you can copy or download. Scanned pages produce little or no text. Always compare the preview with the source before you rely on the file.
