How we review tools

How Trendalyzer tests, verifies, and audits tools for browser privacy and mathematical correctness.

For humans

Trendalyzer verifies every tool against rigorous privacy and mathematical standards before publication. This page describes the testing and verification process behind all tools on the site.

Verification standards

Every tool on this site is tested against five essential gates:

  1. A content record that states inputs, outputs, limits, warnings, and a definitional paragraph
  2. Goldens or unit checks on the code path the browser actually runs — not a Node-only branch
  3. A Playwright spec that plants a sentinel in the input and asserts it never appears in a request
  4. Honest failure behaviour: invalid input must not leave a previous result on screen
  5. An accessibility pass on the interactive controls

A port from another repository is not evidence. Moving a file is not evidence.

What we do not check yet

  • Layout-faithful conversion of every Word or PDF document
  • Clinical, legal, or financial correctness of any number a calculator might later produce
  • Third-party advertising until a host is signed in the allowlist

The publisher contact is info@trendalyzer.app. Ready promotion requires a human decision. An automated green build is necessary and not sufficient.
