SCORM 1.2 to PowerPoint

Recover supported content from a SCORM 1.2 ZIP as editable PowerPoint slides. Your browser extracts the course locally, reconstructs supported HTML and CSS at a chosen viewport, and writes positioned text, shapes and pictures. Review the approximate preview and reported differences before export. Dynamic course screens and unqualified publisher formats may not be recoverable.

How local reconstruction works

  1. Select a ZIP with imsmanifest.xml at its root, or try the local sample.
  2. Select an organization and course items. Build a layout at the original course viewport when known.
  3. Review the slides, exclusions and font differences. Download PowerPoint and the separate conversion report.

Supported content and limits

The initial profile handles static HTML, basic flow and positioned CSS, text, solid boxes and local PNG/JPEG pictures, plus recognized Trendalyzer course data. Input is limited to 50 MiB, 5,000 ZIP entries and 100 output slides. Complex CSS, animations, embedded video, remote resources and course JavaScript are not executed. Unsupported items must be excluded or explicitly reformatted as text.

Layout and editability

Text stays editable; pictures remain separate objects. Arial substitutes source fonts, and PowerPoint line wrapping can differ. The preview is approximate. This is not a universal SCORM renderer, original authoring-source recovery, or a compatibility claim for Storyline, Rise or Captivate. Reformatting deliberately discards the original layout and pictures.

Privacy

Course files and generated presentations stay in your browser. There is no upload endpoint or persistent document storage. Reset or close the page to release the session. No Cloudflare conversion service is needed. Convert PowerPoint to SCORM 1.2 for the other direction.
